Hi. Sorry for english.

Short story: the fix on the websites that the guy connects the left stand to the ground will damage the battery . I did the fix and my battery was running out of charge quickly. I had 6 hours full duration for idle state but just after the fix it reduced to one and a half. I realized battery consumption and removed the cable and did the latter FIX instead. Even when i did the latter fix my battery did not act as before although got much longer duration.

So the FIX is you have to paste some electric tape inside the metal support on which touchpad stands are sitting.

The reason of issue : there's a strong magnetic field produced by one of speakers near the left side of touchpad. Also there is some kind of insulation inside the metal support so the touchpad stands do not electrically connect to the metal support. So the flow of electostatic will not run through the touchpad ( causing lag issue).

The laptop when out of the box , the thin insulation inside the metal support is good enough so you don't notice any issue, after a while of using left clicks on touchpad, the touchpad stands are sharp as blade so they are pressed over the insulation and removes tiny bit of it, so there goes some electrostatic accumulated.

When you shorten the left stand to ground the electrostatic is not accumulated anymore.

Using paste I never faced the issue ever again.

Good luck

Good luck
