Hi,
So, my OMEN Laptop is running slower when plugged in than on battery.
I can see this specially when when gaming. Some games with medium requirements run around 50-60FPS when on battery and i'm down to 15-20 FPS when plugged in.
I have tweaked battery and power options.
I have updated BIOS and all drivers.
I have forced computer reboot (the procedure where you hold start button for 15 secs after shutting it down).
None of these worked.
PC configuration is :
System Model: OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce0xx
BIOS: F.23 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8142MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design
My last guess is that my charger might be faulty, but before i buy a new one, i want to be sure everything else has been tried...
Any idea please ?

Hi@Gringuy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Apologize for the issue with the display. We understand it's an issue and let's do few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.
Tried Adding the game to High performances in the Nivida control panel?
Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.
Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.
Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.
In the game bar, click Settings.
Click the check box next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.
Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.

I took a while to answer, but i still can't figure why my computer lags more when he is plugged in, than running on battery.
All drivers are up to date.
I'm on "max performance" power plan.
I've bought a new charger.
And still, my computer runs slower when plugged in than on battery. Both GPU and CPU seems to reach max performance a few second after the laptop is plugged in..

Hi@Gringuy,Welcome to the HP Support Community!
We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked by taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
