Hello,
So once in a blue moon my fps in games drops from like 170 that i usually have to 20-42 the most and i can't play with that. I made sure that all my drivers are updated and all these little things but it seems like none of it is working and i don't know what could be the issue. Few days ago my fps was just fine like usually around 170 and up and since yesterday my fps been 20-42 and i don't know what to do.
I want to thank you in advance for anyone that would find a way to help me out.

HEllo @simmypilch
I dont know what could be happening with your system. This occurs when you game while plugged in to the power cord, correct?
IF so, I would open the Task Manager and see if there is a certain program starting up and running that is taking up cpu resources.
Control-Alt-Delete will access the Task Manager. Click on the CPU section to make the highest percentage show on top.
Are there any Apps running up the CPU when this FPS drops?
A screen shot posted here will help if you're not sure.

Im not sure whats happening. Can you observe the temperatures and see if the cpu is getting hot when it happens?
If you dont have anything to look at them, then download HWMonitor and use it...

If its heating up, that would explain it. If not, Im not sure whats happening.

Could be that your iGPU is being used instead of the dedicated one.
Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel and make sure the preferred graphics processor would be the High-performance NVIDIA processor Instead of the Integrated graphics
After that, click apply and see if there are any changes

EDIT: it seems that I accidentally posted this twice. Sorry!
