Hi @fa1091tx,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to customize the fan speed on your HP device without using the OMEN Gaming Hub. Let’s go through a few steps to check the available options and settings for fan control.

Check BIOS Fan Settings

Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS.

Look under the Advanced or System Configuration tab for any available Fan Control or Thermal Settings options.

Update BIOS and System Drivers

Visit the official HP Support website and enter your product model.

Download and install the latest BIOS, chipset, and thermal management drivers to ensure proper fan response.

Use HP Command Center or OMEN Hub (Recommended)

These tools are specifically designed to safely adjust fan profiles while protecting your system.

If you prefer not to use OMEN Hub, note that third-party tools are not supported and may cause system instability.

Ensure Proper Airflow

Make sure the vents are clear of dust or blockages.

Use the device on a hard, flat surface to allow optimal cooling and accurate fan speed response.

Monitor Temperatures

You can use HP Command Center, Task Manager, or other monitoring utilities to check system temperature trends and ensure fans are performing as expected.

This should help you maintain proper cooling and performance without needing external or unsupported software.

I hope this helps.
