OMEN by HP - 17-w210nr

Hi! I wanted to reach out to see if anyone was experiencing the same issue I was. Some reason my fans have been super loud, to the point that I have gotten comments about it and wish to fix it. I have bios updated to the latest addition and did not give me an option to do anything with the fan systems (no power options). The product is omen by hp - 17-w210nr. Please help!

@cerapoint,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Fan issues with the Omen by HP laptop making loud noise.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Adjust the power settings, clean the fan vents, check for suspicious processes.

NOTE: It is normal for the fans to spin loudly for five to twenty seconds when the computer initially turns on.

You can use OMEN Gaming Hub to optimize performance and customize OMEN features are available. Change the CPU power consumption to reduce the heat of your computer. The higher the CPU voltage requirement is set, the higher the heating capacity of the CPU is. This feature can reduce the CPU core voltage without reducing the CPU performance. Click this link for steps to fix it.

When a computer fan spins loudly for a long period of time, there might be an issue with a fan.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
