Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant:

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

  1. To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

And, also refer to the article: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/ish_3912817-3818061-16 OMEN Performance Control.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello, thanks for responding. I have HP Support Assistant installed, I checked for updates - there were no updates. I read the article and when "Setting Thermal Control to MANUAL enables the System Fan Speed slide bar" -  I move the slider but nothing happens. I also noticed that the "AUTO" mode continues to operate, although "MANUAL" is selected. The problem is somewhere else.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Omen Hub app? Click here: HP PCs - HP OMEN Gaming Hub

Yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I looked at the services in Windows 10, suddenly there is a ban, but all services are allowed for the HP OMEN HUB. Maybe you need to watch something special? I also downloaded a program (AIDA 64) to see the speed of the coolers and other sensors (temperatures, etc.). However, she did not find the fan sensor. Is it possible that it is not working, how to make sure? I also noticed, since we are already talking about the HP OMEN HUB, after the updates, the AUTO mode began to respond to temperatures more slowly, which causes the processor to go into throttling mode. Of course, the MAX mode saves from this, but I think this is not a way out of the situation .

By the way, I have in the program HP OMEN HUB does not show the speed of the fans in any of the modes. I looked at other reviews on the Internet, does it show people, or does it depend on the model? I want to add that since the purchase of the laptop, the function for manually controlling the fans has not been working.

Is this problem possible again? I have bios f.10

In general) I continued to experiment and this is what I found out: when it is set to "manual", then the mode works as if "auto", but a little differently. How did I notice it? I tried to change the fan modes during games. (for example, the game Mortal Kombat 11) So, when the normal "auto" mode was set, the processor warmed up at about 90 degrees and above, and after a while it switched to throttling mode. Therefore, I usually used the "max" mode, and then the temperatures dropped to 75-80. And so I turned off the game once again and decided to set the fan mode to "manual" and lo and behold, they responded! That is, they did not work at a given speed, but in manual mode they worked like an auto, but they spun up to the maximum of how the slider was chosen! I put it on high and it started spinning faster than auto and less than max and the temperatures stayed at 75-80 degrees which I think is good. As soon as I left the game, remaining in the manual mode of controlling the fans, they worked a little more and their speed dropped to a minimum, although they were at high speeds. So what happens, and how does your program work? Or do I still set the fan speed in manual mode as I want, even if the laptop is not under load? Answer please. I will duplicate this message in Russian, suddenly someone needs it:
