OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 (2L1F2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

the fan speed of the laptop is kept on 2000 RPM on the auto mode eve the CPU temp is just 40 or 41 this make the battery stay for just 2 hours
When I first buy the device the battery life stay for like 5 to 6 hours on average use this problem happens to me after 3 weeks I format the device but now the problem comes back again
Note: I put the fan on max and when the CPU hit a low heat like 36 or 37 the fans stopes but it's back to move on 2000 RPM when it hit like 45 CPU temp

@Nero1235,

Your issue was discussed earlier here: Fan control - HP Support Community - 8157096, and according to @PJLAN2 there was a solution, and I quote: [posted on ‎09-15-2021 07:50 PM] (spelling, syntax & grammar as copied):

"Hello Good news everyone, Omen gaming hub Received a update and they implemented fan curve into the app !

I must say it's quite nice you can't totally shut down fans but can get it as low as 1500RPM (25%) and the difference is actually quite huge with 2000RPM. 50/55 should allow 0 just for the sake of saving fan lifespan but well that's really good compared to no fan curve at all.
We can hope 0 in a future update for 50/55 if noone breaks it's laptop  with this "dangerous" "advanced" funcionality hopefully 🙂
Anyway my ears say thank you HP for this update." -end quote, emphasis added.

Hopefully this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

I saw it and it is better than nothing
and I hope so they work on it because CPU temp is stops on 40 or 41 or even 45 and it never get down until a long time like 30 minutes.
and thank you for this it is better than nothing
