OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I reformat my operating system (Windows 10) because I bought an ssd. Basically, I want to change my the location of my OS from the hdd to the sdd for a faster boot up and smooth performance on the side of the windows 10. After reformatting my laptop, it had a lot of issues. First is my OMEN app was gone. Second is Bang and Olusen audio driver is gone.  I was hoping you guys could help me on how to retrieve them back.

Thanks a lot

Cheers!

@Domniic,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post you need assistance related to your HP notebook. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Are you trying to install a retail copy of Windows or OEM version.

Have you tried to change the boot order in the Bios?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

If you have installed the Operating system and having issues with the app, let's try these steps which should help you resolve this issue.

Let's start off by Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.

Now try to perform Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

If the issue still persists, I would suggest here is to update the Bios on your computer from  HP Support Assistant Updates -

download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

If you have installed a retail copy of Windows, then you would need to order a set of recovery media, Here's what you need to know on how to obtain a set of recovery media for your PC.

I will share you a private message with details to order a recovery media for your PC. Please watch your inbox for more information.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂
