Hello!

I have lot of problems with temp while gaming in my laptop. 2 days ago was everything OK , temperature was high reaching 90, but it doesn't couse fps drop Problems, games like CS GO are unplayble now, i m geting drops till 80 fps. Only playing COD Warzone makes temp high till 97.

 

Temps while plying cs go reaching 80, and fps still drops much....

When i m making OCCT Test Core speed goes only till 3.6-3.8 ghz....

 

Things done by me

Nvidia driveres update

Bios Updated

Factory settings

Undervolting gives me nothing.

Laptop is almost new, it have like 4 months.

Any tips ? Too late for cashback already -.-

have you recently update your windows version?? based on my experience,, i also had temperature rise about 10-15 degree after windows update KB4580364...

I never had this kind of problem... but i dont think that's because NVIDIA... playing csgo with nvidia rtx2070 should be no problem at all...

 

Maybe this method can help:

1. Choose the 'discrete' display option on Omen Command Center (OCC)

2. Make sure it's on "Performance Mode" on OCC, and set auto fans...

3. Check your windows power mode to "Best Performance", and always plugged in your power supply unit while playing games...

Did those steps already before, i started my Windows one more time ( factory reset) without Windows Update, seems be working now. Fps doesnt drop. I hope  IT will  works today too, i will update thread after work.
