So wat happened is before, with the original adapter i can play league of legends with 170+fps now only 5-15ish fps.i do also have a choppy visuals on other game.
Is it cause my adapter isnt original and im oblige to use only hp ones? Or is there anything causing this problem. Im checked and both have same 90w and 19.5v output.

Hi @Draxlon
Welcome to the HP Forums!
It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.
I reviewed your post and I understand that there is FPS drop after changing the AC adapter.
Don’t worry, I’d love to assist you in this regard.
I would like to inform you that, when you play high-end games they usually require more power and that is why it is always recommended to have the AC adapter connected when playing games to get the best video quality.
As you have mentioned that you have purchased a non-HP AC adapter and it is of exact same wattage and volts. As it is universal adapter even though it specified that it is 90W the power output may be less.
I recommend you to use an HP branded AC adapter and I am positive that it should take care of the issue.
Meanwhile, try updating the bios on your computer and check if that helps.
