Hi, i recently bought this new laptop, with the rtx2060. While i was configuring everything in the nvidia control panel a g-sync option appeared, all normal. Then a bios update kick in and after that i doesnt appear the g sync option, now i don´t know if my laptop support g-sync, maybe before bios update the g sync option was a bug. In some sites i find its supported, in other i don´t find any mention about g-sync.
Any way to find out if my laptop is g sync capable?

Hello @paux
Yes its g sync capable. If the bios update did this, what version was the update? The drivers page only give one version... F.03 sp95121.exe.
What version is in it now and can it be rolled back?

Hi Photoray002.
I tried in the device manager to comeback the original graphics card driver, and still nothing. I enter in the bios to see the boot option, i saw that maybe after a bios update changes to legacy, but it was on uefi so no problem there. It is the bios update or some windows update, beacuse just outside the box appeared and after all the updates dissapeared, including a bios update. Maybe in some future patch it will comeback, i hope. Thanks for the answer.

You originally claimed it happened after the bios updated.
Again I ask... would you tell me the bios version it has now? F1 at boot will access the info page, or you can open the HP Support Assistant and find out.

OK thanks. That is the latest bios update.
Very strange and I have not heard of this happening before.
If you haven't tried it yet, see if the latest HP Nvidia driver will work.
It is 25.21.14.1749 Rev.A
IF that does not work, you can always try the latest update directly from Nvidia. But if that does not work either, you will need to contact HP Support directly for a warranty issue. Explain that after the bios update, G Sync no longer is available and any other issues you find. Otherwise, I would have no way of knowing if HP will be issuing any patch. Im sorry.
