Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

    I am using this machine HP Notebook - 15-bs177tx when i installed old drivers it shows radeon 530 card but with latest drivers it shows R7 M340 Why is that? also the problem is when i am charging my laptop and playing game my card gives full performance but temperature rises to 80-90 while on battery it remains at 60-75 but performance drops i am more worried about temperature as i am not sure if those temperatures are normal for GPU machine? Can some expert help? i tried to lower clock speed via MSI After burner but unfortunately its not supported with current machine

Also my screen resolution is 1366x768 there is no option to select 1920x1080 although this laptop supports the resolution i have latest drivers for Intel UHD 620 as well as RADEON latest software please help

@nmans,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating when you are playing games and you are facing issues with the graphics driver.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that the computer you have is not designed for gaming and usually games use a lot of resources which causes the computer to overheat. Also, you need more power when you play games and it is recommended to keep the AC adapter connected while gaming.

Having said that, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

Also, update the graphics drivers from the below link based on the Windows version installed on your computer.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
