HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I have a gaming laptop and has 8gb ram, core i7 7th gen and gtx 1050 specs. But I kind of compared my laptop to other laptops that has same specs as mine. But I find my laptop worse. For example, when I'm playing league of legends, other laptops has over 100fps and won't go down easily but mine is like 70fps and go down to 35 when I have a big fight in the game. Please tell me what is wrong and how to fix in detail step by step please.

Thank you

Hello @Seungyoon

I dont know what is wrong with your setup.

Is this the FPS you get while playing on battery power only?

Hi, are you using the same settings that the laptop reaching 100 fps is using? If not try to lower some settings like AntiAliasing or Texture filters. Are you sure the laptop is using the Nvidia card for the games? You can check by right clicking on the desktop and selecting Nvidia Control Panel. Then click on the tab that states "Program Settings". Click on the drop-down menu an search for the game executable. If you find it click on it and see if the Nvidia card is selected as the graphic processor for the program. If you can't find the game in the drop-down list you can add trough the "Add" button. Then select the executable from the list. If it's not on that list, click on "Browse" and select the executable from the hard drive path (ending in .exe). Once you selected the Nvidia card click on Apply on the bottom right of the window. Now Windows will switch to the Nvidia card to draw your game.

Best regards

Hello thank you for the reply.

The fps I get while my laptop is plugged in is around 80 to 90. And if i unplug, it is about 30 fps. And the other laptops that has similar specs as mine is like 120. Please help. I tried to do something in my Nvidia control panel but I couldn't see other options but 3.

Thank you
