I am facing an issue with my laptop after service at the Thrissur center:

 

Submitted for display flickering in August; display was replaced. Warranty expired in September.

Issue reappeared; submitted again on October 19th, received back on November 7th.

On return, the laptop powered off automatically and wouldn't turn on for minutes. This issue was new post-service.

Discovered a change in the BIOS serial number; service center claimed it was a BIOS error and denied opening the system.

Kochi staff advised checking for motherboard changes; submitted again on November 8th, but no clear answer was provided.

Findings:

 

Original processor: Ryzen 5 4600H; current processor: Ryzen 5 3550H.

Current serial number: [Personal Information Removed], linked to a Ryzen 5 3750H configuration.

Motherboard part number: L71929-601, matching a Ryzen 5 3550H setup.

 

I am having 2 questions

1)if there is error in bios did serial number get change by just doing os work??

 

2)when did the warrenty of a lap starts?? Service team is telling warrenty starts on manufacturing date? I need suport form hp
