Product: HP 15-dk1008ca Laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The laptop would not boot. Downloaded image from HP cloud and tried to re-install Win 10 from USB drive.

Error log says:

{PANIC.cmd} has been called at non-WinPE environment.

{PANIC.com} activate BP and reboot into WinPE environment.

 

I cannot find any BIOS option for BP.

Hi, Lawrence:

 

If the cloud recovery tool is reporting an error, the only suggestion I can offer would be to use the Microsoft Media creation tool to create a bootable W10 installation flash drive and clean install W10.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
