Hello,

I recently started receiving an error message on my HP Pavilion Gaming 16-a0000 laptop when I power it on. The message says: 

"HP Battery Alert: Primary (Internal Battery) 601"

 

My battery only lasts around 30 minutes before needing a recharge. I'm concerned because I wasn't seeing this error before, and now I'm unsure what's causing it. I did recently update my laptop with a regular Windows upgrade (Windows 11, version 24H2), and I’m wondering if that could be related.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue or know what it means? What steps should I take to resolve this? Any advice on troubleshooting the battery issue would be greatly appreciated!
