HP Recommended

My product is a HP Chromebook 14 G1 and I am trying to install linux, so I can then install crossover. The issue I am having is that I have no developer options and I tried installing crouton through the terminal (in developer MODE), but I am having 0 luck. My end goal is to be able to download Pirates 101. (I already did a powerwash and did a clean wipe, plus a restart).
