I am having a bit of an issue with my HP wireless mouse M090. Its not working even after I put a new battery, although the light on the back is turned on. Anyone knows how to fix it? (has been 10 months since i bought this) I got this with my HP Victus laptop as an accessory, can i ask for a new mouse replacement? its still within warranty

Check Connectivity: Make sure the USB receiver is correctly plugged into the computer's USB port. Sometimes changing the USB port can resolve connectivity issues.
Restart the Computer: A simple restart can often resolve unforeseen connectivity problems.
Verify Battery Installation: Confirm that the battery is installed correctly, with the positive and negative ends properly aligned as indicated in the battery compartment.
Update Drivers: Ensure that your computer has the latest drivers installed for the mouse. Visit HP's support website to find any necessary updates or driver downloads.
Re-sync the Mouse and Receiver: Some wireless mice have a synchronization button on both the mouse and the receiver. Try pressing these buttons to reestablish the connection.
