My speakers buzz pretty loudly when sound is playing. its most noticable when I have my Headphones plugged in because sound isn't meant to be playing through my speakers and yet they buzz with any notable sound my computer makes. I just got this laptop TODAY 6/15/17 at bestbuy and this is my first time testing out the sound and other features of this laptop.
Does anyone know why my brand new gaming laptop buzzes?
edit:
ive tried updating the sound drivers.
one update was needed but the buzzing still occurs.
yes ive reset my computer!

Hi @RiverMarcus,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that the you are facing sound issues with your OMEN by HP 15-ax243dx Laptop.
This issue could occur headphone is not getting detected or the audio drivers may not be updated.
Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the link to update the audio driver: Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
You may also update the BIOS from the link: HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.

I agree, what is funny is that support always tries to tell you to download new drivers etc....it is obviously a hardware problem.....my laptop is the same.....i use my hifi for sound anyways....but speakers on HP omen are just horrid. Did they fix it for you? I cant be without my laptop to send it to service though.....that is my problem...
