Hi, I connect my Hp Omen Laptop to my Samsung tv via HDMI Cable, Out of nowhere the tv screen went black to no signal. I have checked the hdmi cables by plugging into my ps4 with it and it worked fine in the same port I had my computer plugged into. In display it does not even detect the tv anymore. I have tryed another tv and the same result. I have searched online thru the forums looking for a fix but haven't found one.. IS there a easy fix or is this a  hardware problem that i need to have addressed?

Hi @MoMurda360

I understand that your Notebook does not detect your TV/Monitor anymore.

I'd like to help.

Please ensure you have completed all the Windows Update.

  1. Restart your Notebook to ensure any updates previously downloaded are correctly installed.

  2. In Windows, search for and open Windows Update.

    The Windows Update menu opens.

  3. Click one of the following options, if presented, on the Windows Update window:

    • If updates are available to download, click Install now.

      Figure : Click Install now

    • If no updates are currently listed, click Check for updates, then click Install now if Windows detects available updates.

      Figure : Check for updates

  4. Restart your computer to finish installing the updates.

Press the FN and F4 Function keys at the same time to switch the display from the Notebook display, to the external monitor, or to both. This key combination might differ among Notebooks

Please provide me with the Product Number of your HP Omen.

You can refer to this Link: hp.care/2bygf7l for help in locating the Product Number.

Keep me posted.

Thank you. 🙂
