When I am not playing, GPU is still running. Some of the applications I don't even know are running in the background,  such as contana.exe & lock.app.exe. How do I disable the GPU and use the intel graphic card for normal work (Youtube, online shopping etc) or how to customize it so GPU is on only when I play games?

HP disabled iGPU on Omen machines which has GTX 1060 and higher. You can not enable iGPU on your machine which has GTX 2070. Same as mine

I do not play games, only to use my Omen machine for video/photo editing. I only turn it on once or twice a month and start to use it more recently for MyGov.
