HP omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

About a week ago , Audio problems started randomly on my HP Omen 15:

When i start the computer, some loud and random noises come out of the speaker, the best way i can describe them is "R2D2 on cocaine", it lasts a few seconds and goes away. It also happens if i try to change the volume or launch certain apps.

I also have no sound in my headphones , only static noise.

Overall no audio can be played from the speakers or headphones.

I've tried all sorts of things:

-Reinstalling and updating the drivers

-Going back to an older version of the drivers

-Going back to the default windows driver

-updating windows

I'm kinda out of options at this point, so i'm taking a shot here.

Thanks in advance and have a wonderful evening .

@Flogi

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello! I have the same problem as you. Also, you described it on point (literally like r2d2 on cocaine lol). Have you fixed your problem? because I need help 😞
