HP Omen 15 inches - wasd keys not lighting up

I have owned 2 HP Omen machines. Both great. Both, however, displaying the same issue: the wasd gaming keys wil light on/off randomly, juntil they reach the stage they simply will not lit up amymore.

I went through all kinds of troubleshooting - no luck.

Possible causes:

1. mechanical failure (the wasd keys are not build to tolerate intensive gaming).

2. Bios issue?

3. Windows 10 issue? (registry, control panal, device manager?)

4. HP Omen HUB issue (uninstall/reinstall?)

If anyone has a solution, please help.

On my machine I realised the "a" key, when pushed, makes the other 3 flicker, until they all stop.

I am honestly thinking to go for a nother brand for my next notebook.
