OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (2W4P8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello to the community. After some playtime in Kingdom Comes, I noticed that the CPU temperature is around 95 degrees Celsius. However, the CPU only has a load of 15-20%. This applies to all cores. The GPU is at 55-65 degrees Celsius, that's in my eyes normal. But it's normal for a laptop CPU to get so warm? It's not even warm, hot...

Normal HP Omen notebook can run up to over 90°C. Your machine probably has 200W or 230W charger. Have you tried to touch to a 100W incandescent lamp (when it's on) ?

Not CPU, its GPU also generates heat too.

Regards.

Yes I am using a 230w power supply. I didn't know the CPU could get that hot. My old desktop PC with Intel I7 4770K sometimes reached 68 degrees Celsius under full load. I was just concerned about the temperature of the CPU.Thanks for the answer.
