HP Omen 15-ce030ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The battery of my HP Omen 15-ce030ca has swollen recently.  My biggest concern is that the battery can explode and cause damage to the laptop and its surrounding.  The warranty expired a while ago, but I am kind of worried due to the safety issues relating to the swollen battery...

Due to the potential risk and fire hazard, is there any way to get a new original battery for my OMEN laptop?

Is it possible to use the laptop with the battery uninstalled?  Would that damage it?  Please advise.  Thank you.

Normally, it can be used by connecting the adapter directly to the computer without installing the battery.

HP is currently not selling this battery, but you can search for it online according to the battery part number: 917724-855.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty.
