There is a pretty simple fix if you are experiencing erratic behaviour of the touchpad. The behaviour is caused by static electricity caused by your fingers rubbing the surface. The touchpad is not properly grounded causing the erratic behaviour. To fix this, remove the back cover of the laptop and connect a thin wire from the metal bar at the bottom to the small shiny rectangular plate on the right. Just put the wire underneath the screws, to fix it. No soldering necessary.
