Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with my HP Omen button. It's supposed to open the Omen Command Center, but when I press it, nothing happens.
I've tried the following things to fix the problem:
- I've updated the BIOS to the latest version.
- I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Omen Command Center.
- I've restarted my computer.
None of these things have worked.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if they know how to fix it.
Thanks,
GRAF_MO

Hi @Graf_Mo,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's unfortunate that you're experiencing issues with your HP Omen button and the Command Center. If the standard troubleshooting steps you've taken haven't resolved the problem, here are a few additional suggestions you can try.
- Check for Software Updates: Ensure that your Omen Command Center software is up to date. Visit the HP support website to download and install the latest version of the Command Center.
- Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the Omen Command Center shortcut or executable file and choose "Properties." Go to the "Compatibility" tab and try running the program in compatibility mode for a previous Windows version. Apply the changes and see if it helps.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click on the Omen Command Center shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Sometimes, certain permissions are required for the program to function properly.
- Reinstall Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Uninstall your current graphics drivers, restart your computer, and then install the latest drivers from the official HP or graphics card manufacturer's website.
- HP Support Assistance: Use the HP Support Assistant tool to check for any driver or system updates. It may help in identifying and resolving issues related to your HP Omen system.
- Windows Update: Make sure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, a Windows update can include fixes for compatibility issues.
- Check Event Viewer: Look into the Windows Event Viewer for any error messages related to the Omen Command Center. This might provide more specific details about the issue.
Remember to back up important data before making any significant changes to your system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
