Product: HP OMEN
Where can I find a replacement charger for my hp Omen laptop?
I’ve replaced it with a 150w one and it will only charge for a few seconds. I’ve also borrowed one from a friend who has the same laptop and it charged with no issues.

Hello @95smithconnor
Will the laptop run plugged in OK?
If so...
What is the full product number of your OMEN?
The HP Support Assistant will give you that info.
IF the charger works on your friends laptop but not yours, maybe its not the charger but the battery.
With the laptop plugged in, tap F2 on startup and open the UEFI Diagnostics tools.
Go to Component Tests > Power and test the battery and charger.

the charger I purchased is 150w, 19.5v 7.7A, input 100-240v-2A 50-60Hz. And it has to be a 4.5MM plug because it fits. Which as far as I can tell it is identical to my original charger. I stated earlier that my friends Omen charger did work on my computer, so my computer will charge, just not with the replacement charger I bought.
