Product: OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wf1000 (8X3Y6AV)

Laptop suddenly shuts off and restarts, and is stuck on the boot screen with omen logo. at first the circle rotates then gets stuck everytime. did UEFI extensive hardware checks. all checks passed. then tried getting bios update and firmware update with windows + b button pressed. still same. windows will not get into startup repair as it gets stuck at preparing startup repair in the same way. made a new usb bootable device using a 32 gb pendrive, went to bios, changed boot load order, even tried manually booting by pressing esc during startup and selecting the usb device for boot. same thing everytime. this is frustrating as I got this laptop last week and a lot of my work is pending because of it. tell me if it can be fixed or i need to simply return the laptop and get a better one.
