Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I have an HP Omen 15 laptop (product ID 6RR67EA#ABU) which I use primarily for gaming and often reaches quite high temperates, although has never powered down because of overheating before. I also have an external fan attached to help with this.

Recently I’ve noticed that I need to keep the charger in constantly while using the laptop, otherwise the charge quickly drains and it will power off. Yesterday I was gaming and the laptop shut itself off with no warning. When I have tried to switch it back on since then it won’t boot, no noise from the fans but the power button will blink (button lights up for a few seconds, off for a few seconds and then on for a few seconds again, etc).

I’ve removed the battery and held down the power button for 60 seconds but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve removed the battery and tried turning on with only the charger cable in, and similarly tried turning on with the charger cable unplugged and neither of these methods worked.

Any help would be much appreciated!
