Hi, I'm interested in this laptop but I would like to have "Windows Hello" face recognition for security or anything like finger print reader... does this have it? Regards Shane

No it does not have face recognition. Face rec requires an Infrared webcam and as far as I know, is not going to be included in the HP Pavilion series as Pavilion is considered the budget end of the laptop lineup.

Are you requiring a "Gaming" rig specifically that also has face rec? I don't know of any of the Omen laptops that have that either except for the Omen X series like the new 2S lineup.

Otherwise if you only require facial rec, look into the HP Envy or Spectre X360 series that has an IR webcam.

Or you could purchase a USB 3D webcam and install it to any laptop.

Thanks for your comments, I'm looking for a specific spec and these gaming laptops showed as a possibility... I7 Processor Min 500GB HD/SSD 17" Display Win10 Pro Finger print or Face-unlock 8Gb Ram min Under £1000 This was the closest to the speck but didn't know about the security options.
