Hi, I got a HP Pavilion 15.6in R5 8GB 256GB GTX1650 Gaming Laptop around 2-3 days ago.
Everything was perfect, ran The Sims 4 + Multiple Expansions on Ultra quality like a dream.
Yesterday, I installed some custom content for the Sims 4 online. Since then, my laptop has completely done a U-Turn and has become unplayable. The lagging is similar to Lag Spikes, on ROBLOX it plays good for a little while but then a massive lag spike happens. Sims 4 is laggy too.
It’s even lagging when I have no games open, just opening Documents makes it slow.
Sims 4 is lagging on the High graphics, ROBLOX used to work on high but now it barely works on Low.
I genuinely have tried everything you can think of. I’ve tried to update the drivers but it won’t let me. I’ve reset my PC, still laggy. Scanned my Laptop for viruses, Laptop was free of them. I have done everything I can think of and I don’t know what to do anymore, I’ve lost all hope of getting it back to its former glory.
The next option is to get a refund but I’m so disappointed, I just wanna get it back to how it was.
Any help is widely appreciated. Thanks.
