Hi . I just bought my lappy a week ago. And I must say I dont overcharge or even use it for long hours.
so heres the problem.
Yesterday I thought lappy just got emptied that is why it is not opening until I put on the AC power.
But early this morning as I was trying to open it, it doesnt open. I am sure it is not empty last night, but I still plugged it and poof. power came on.
Help me pls, Is there anyway This can be fixed. Shop said I have to pay for it(battery) warranty does not include it. I feel like its a little too much. I just got it, barely used it and didnt even overcharge or charged it for so long...
HP-15 Gaming Laptop,Ryzen 3
AMD A10 9620P Quad core 3.40GHZ MAX Speed
It has a built in battery thus I cannot perform the remove battery testing method posted here..
thanks much in advance

Hello @CopperButterfly
It appears you have a couple pieces of mis-information.
You can absolutely run the diagnostics with the built in battery, thats one of the features of HP.
With the power cord plugged in, press the power button and rapidly tap the F2 key until the UEFI Diagnostics tool opens.
Go to Component Tests > Power and test the battery.
What does it say?
HP absolutely covers the battery in its warranty. You need to contact HP Support via the link below and speak to an agent.

@photoray002 Hi. I just run a test and this is what it says. Pls enlighten me on this. I just got this for say 10 days. 😭
Went to the shop where I bought this and they are asking me to pay a minimum of P1500 and 2to 3wks repair days. What should I do ?
