Hi @gputhread,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot and the details about your Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb3000 (A8RU2AV).

I can see that the monitoring utility is reporting PCI Express error counters, including values under Receiver Errors, Replay Count, Bad DLLP Count, NAKs Sent/Received, Recovery Count, and Correctable Errors. However, these readings from a third-party monitoring utility by themselves do not confirm that the laptop has a hardware failure. Since you are not currently experiencing crashes or BSODs, I would first verify the hardware using HP's own diagnostics.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI runs outside Windows, which helps isolate an actual hardware problem from an operating-system or software-related issue.

  1. Shut down the laptop completely.
  2. Turn it on and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  4. Run the available System Tests/Component Tests.
  5. If the initial tests pass but you are still concerned about a possible hardware problem, run the Extensive Test. HP recommends the Extensive Test when symptoms of a hardware problem remain after the initial test.

If any test fails, please make a note of the 24-digit Failure ID, along with the Product ID. HP uses the Failure ID to identify a confirmed hardware failure and determine the appropriate repair action.

Since the laptop is only 7 months old, I would not recommend opening or replacing any hardware based solely on these monitoring counters. Please run the F2 HP Hardware Diagnostics first and share the test result or Failure ID, if one is generated.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
