Microsoft Windows 11

The reason for the spike in temperature using the Omen Gaming Hub is that it is clashing with Windows Power Management. Omen Gaming Hub is not really made for the HP Victus 16 laptop....it should be used with the true HP Omen Laptops. I would suggest that owners of the HP Victus 16 uninstall the Omen Gaming Hub entirely, but first make sure the performance settings are on DEFAULT and the fan is set to AUTO. After uninstall go into your Windows (Edit Power Plan) Windows Power Management and set it to BALANCED. Then in Change Advance Settings, go to Processor Power Management, open the tree on Process Performance Boost Mode and set that to Enabled or Aggressive....Aggressive for gaming. Save and you should be good.
