Charging Brick for the victus 16 laptop. The end that goes to the barrel plug in the laptop has this weird flex at the joint where it connects to the brick. It feels like it should be detachable but I haven't been able to. If it's not meant to be detachable it feels like this joint will snap over time as it doesn't feel very solid. Anyone know why this brick is designed this way?

Hi@Annatar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you have questions about the charging brick on the HP Victus Laptop.

The end that goes to the barrel plug in the laptop where it connects to the brick is not detachable. If the charger is not working then please do contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.
