HP laptop not turning/booting on

Hello, my laptop has just randomly crashed while doing some things and it doesn't want to turn on. This has happened to me some time ago but doing CRTL + Shift + Windows Key + B turned it on. This time it hasn't turned on. I've tried searching for methods to turn on the laptop but nothing has worked. Any ideas on why it won't turn on?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. From what I have understood, you are not able to power ON your HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-Ec0013dx. Do not worry, we are here to help you fix it.

• Before we proceed further, may I know the troubleshooting steps you have already performed?
• Do you see any signs of power in your system? Any light pattern on the power button or near the charging port?
• Try removing the AC adapter to see if there is any difference. Also, may I know if you are using HP genuine AC adapter?
• Did you try doing a hard reset on your system? If not, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and check if that makes any difference.

If the issue persists, please follow the steps using the link here and let me know the outcome of it.

Hello, I had tried all the steps and I am using the ac adapter that came with it. There is a little light signal next to where I plug in the ac adapter to my laptop. It blinks about every 3 seconds and sometimes it doesn't blink.

A little update, I've managed to take out the battery and it still doesn't turn on. With and without the battery the laptop does not turn on.

When you press the power button with the charger plugged in, does the light next to the AC input blink?

Yes it blinks about every 3 seconds

The problem may be in the DC input or DC socket, check the DC socket on the motherboard, if you have a different adapter, try with it.

Your laptop may have static electricity, disconnect all usb connections, hold the power button for 40-50 seconds with the battery installed.

I tried using a different power cord and it didn't work , same with the 40 second trick.

Can you try the rams one by one and run the computer that way?
