HP OMEN 17 AN009tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

thanks in advance

By an accident i broke the screen of my laptop, which is HP omen 17 an009tx version and I wish to replace it

it is FullHD (1080p), size 17.3 , 120 hz,  40 pin screen IPS lED

I wish to order the screen and replace it myself.

I opened the box and version of the screen was N173HCE-G32 rev C1. this screen is hard to come by

basically my question is, is there another screen than can fit into my laptop without comprimizing G sync? same spec screen with good response time or a 144hz screen. can i use any hp omen 17 17.3 screen without any problem?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

edit: using part surfer i noted my version had a display part number 9229334-001, on googling seems to give HP compaq screen, specs seems the same, but cheaper than N173HCE-G32 rev C1, is there is a difference?

Hello everyone

I broke the screen on my hp omen 17 by accident and decided to replace it.

It originally had N173HCE-G32 rev C.1 screen (17.3" screen 120 hz g sync compatible) and I replaced with N173HHE-G32 rec C.4 scren (17.3" screen 120 hz gync compatible), but i don't have G sync anymore and it does not show up in nvidia control panel

I asked around and they said that screen is compatible and G sync should work

is there i can do to make it work again? is t is a BIOS issue?

Would appreciate any help
