@redgami123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Fixing Horizontal Lines on HP Omen Laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Horizontal lines on your HP Omen laptop screen can be caused by a variety of issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve this issue:

Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes simple restarts can solve minor glitches.

Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupt graphics drivers can lead to display issues. Update your graphics drivers from HP’s official website or through Windows Device Manager.

Check for System Updates: Ensure that your Windows system is updated to the latest version, as updates can fix bugs that might be causing display issues.

Connect to an External Monitor:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if the issue persists.
  • If the lines do not appear on the external monitor, it indicates a possible problem with your laptop's screen.

Check Display Settings: Sometimes incorrect display settings can cause lines. Adjust your screen resolution and refresh rate to recommended settings.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Disconnect the power adapter and any external devices.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to reset the system.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and turn on your laptop.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
