Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (599K2AV)
Hello, I have a problem with my HP Victus 15. I noticed that the part under the display on the top and bottom has swelled. I assume that overheating caused the plastic to melt on the case. The laptop was used for 9 months of normal operation. The service center says that they do not want to fix it under warranty, but that the problem was caused by inadequate handling. I'm asking if it's even possible for a laptop to get so hot, regardless of how it's used, that it melts the plastic without activating some kind of thermal protection that would shut down the device. Thank you for your help.
