OMEN Laptop 15-ek0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was using my computer when suddenly it froze up and the dreaded blue screen popped up. It took a few minutes before it restarted my computer and then it froze and shut down again. After that it came up with an error saying the OS was not found. When going through the system recovery and BIOS it couldn't even find the hard drive at all. I had a spare hard drive that's compatible with my laptop that has a copy of Windows on it. Using that the computer boots up but will only show the old hard drive about 50% of the time. Now it's not showing it at all and the computer keeps crashing and saying it can't find the OS even with the second drive I had in it (I've since taken it out). I've tried to get ahold of Customer Service since I have the extended care warranty but I can't find a link to anything other than the AI chat or find a service center near you. There is no center near me. I need to send my computer in to get fixed because right now it's unusable. Someone please help me.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
