Hp omen 15-ce198wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bough HP omen 15 two weeks ago for data science work. When i do parallel processing, which used all core of my system, the temperature rises about 90 and some time reach to 100 celcius.  I am also using a cooling pad.

What i have done using throttlesetup i have enabled the 'disbale turbo' option. and now temperature is below 70.

But i feel my fan speed is slow, i cant hear them as before.

I want to know does disabling turbo has any bad effect? Or what are the other ways to reduce tempearute. thanks

When you disable the Turbo boost via Throttlestop, the processor will work much slower than before. So yes, you get lower temperatures, but you sacrifice a lot of performance.
