Good morning, I am the owner of a Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0047nl and I have a specific request. To manage workload distribution and fan speed, it is mandatory to use OMEN Gaming Hub. Unfortunately, the fan speed is poorly managed, and I am looking for an alternative solution. When processor load and temperature increase, the fans spin at an insufficient speed to cool the system properly. I am forced to set the fans to MAX speed instead of AUTO. Is there any tool that allows me to progressively adjust the fan speed?

@Keyfaiv, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Fan speed management!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To manage the workload distribution and fan speed on your Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0047nl, using OMEN Gaming Hub is indeed the recommended approach. Here are some relevant features and modes within OMEN Gaming Hub that you might find useful:
Performance Control Features
OMEN Gaming Hub offers various modes to manage performance and fan speed:
- Comfort Mode: Lowers CPU and GPU temperatures for general tasks.
- Performance Mode: Optimizes gaming performance, increasing power to the CPU and GPU, which might increase heat and fan noise.
- Auto Mode: Automatically adjusts fan speed to the optimal level for the selected performance.
- Max Fan Mode: Enables maximum cooling by bypassing default settings, ideal when dealing with high temperatures.
- Thermal Control Options:
- MAX: Operates the fan at maximum speed regardless of load.
- AUTO: Adjusts the fan speed according to the system load, optimized by the BIOS.
- MANUAL: Allows for manual adjustment of fan speed, providing a balance between performance and noise levels.
Tips for Optimizing Cooling
If you're experiencing issues with fan speed management, here are some general tips to help improve your system's cooling efficiency:
- Place the laptop on a hard surface (like a table) to ensure adequate airflow.
- Clean the fan periodically to remove any dust that may hinder cooling.
- Use a docking device to slightly elevate your laptop and increase airflow.
Take care, and have an amazing day!

My problem is very simple: when the CPU temperature rises above 80°C, the fans do not increase their speed; I am forced to manually set the fan speed to maximum. Since the official software does not function correctly, I hoped to create fan intervention profiles, but no software allows interaction with the fans, which are never detected. All the hardware has been checked multiple times.

Hi @Keyfaiv,
I hear you loud and clear. The issue you’re facing with your Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0047nl is frustrating, especially when you’ve got the fans barely reacting even though your CPU’s basically melting at 80°C. Let's look at what you can do since OMEN Gaming Hub isn’t cutting it.
What You Can Try Instead:
BIOS Update
Make sure your BIOS and OMEN Gaming Hub are fully updated. Sometimes HP adjusts fan behavior with BIOS firmware tweaks.
Go to HP Software & Drivers Page
Search for Victus 16-e0047nl
Install the latest BIOS update, thermal management firmware, and chipset drivers.
Use Performance Mode + Max Fan Combo
If Auto doesn't work:
Set to Performance Mode
Then toggle Max Fan ON only when needed (use a temp monitoring widget or overlay)
Use HWiNFO64 or Core Temp to monitor CPU temps.
This gives you some manual fan trigger control based on actual load.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

I finally solved my laptop fan management problems. After months and a lot of money spent, I found a free SW called "OmenMon: Hardware Monitoring & Control Utility". With this, as soon as the processor temperature tends to rise, the fans intervene and bring it back to acceptable values (this was the behavior that the PC had when I bought it, while now, using the official profiles of the "Omeng Gaming Hub" App, it does not work properly). This very light app finally makes my PC work, which I feared having to replace.
