Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a hp omen 15-dc0043np, with a processor i5 8300h 2,3Ghz and can go to 4,0Ghz with the boost on, but when i play the processor uses the boost and go to 4,0Ghz and starts to heat alot. I will like to know if i can put the boost instead 4,0Ghz to 3,0Gz for example.

Thx for helping

this registry file will make you able to turn it off

after installing it

will make you able to close that  feature which is called :

((Processor performance booster mode )) which you Will find after installing it under the following path:

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings\processor power management

and set that stupid feature to disabled

the problem is that i dont want to disable the boost, i just want to lower to 3,0Ghz instead of 4,0Ghz
