Hello,
I´ve got an Omen 15 with i7 7700HQ and GTX 1060.
I almost always have between 15-20% of CPU load at "System" in task manager.
I´ve been able to look after this error with "Process Explorer", it all comes down to "acpi.sys".
There are a few threads already about this topic, are there any news?
Driver and BIOS are all the most recent ones.

There is a megathread (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/High-CPU-Usage-System-ACPI-sys-GPE-L6F-Storm-Omen-15-...) where this issue was being discussed.
AFAIK this could be a BIOS ACPI bug that HP didn't solve yet, and us, the affected users, don't know if even this is being approached at all, since this isn't something new.
We just have to wait until it get fixed and provide diagnostics to HP if HP is doing an effort to fix this. Other thing you could do if this issue is a deal breaker for you, you could go back to your PC seller and ask for a change to another laptop or a refund. You country should have consumers' rights laws supporting you.
