I recently had a screen issue with my HP Omen 15t, and decided to give a technician to replace the screen. Please note: this laptop has never been opened since  I bought it.  Just a day after I get the laptop back, I realise it is acting a strange - a tad bit slower. A day later I find my that my email and social media accounts are compromised. Some one had unreal access to my data, so much that accounts with 2FA were still hacked. I struggled for days, but was able to retrieve everything. In that process I find the C:// SSD has been infected with several malwares and trojan viruses, which explained why I went back and forth with several recoveries and continous remote hacking. I updated my security measures, and used windows defender to remove all malwares from the laptop, before reinstalling windows.

Now I did not suspect a thing, and believed it must have been something I did, till I find that the name of the current SSD in the laptop is "SAMSUNG MZVLB512...."

So, I want to know does HP use samsung products in their hardware build?

If they do, is there a way for me to ascertain for sure if my laptop ROM was changed?

I am aware that a simple way to do this would be to note the serial number of the SSD before giving the technician, but I did not do that, therefore I have nothing to compare with.

I want to know if HP can provide me with that information about the SSD, if I provide other details about my laptop?

The only part of your question I can answer is that HP definitely uses OEM Samsung drives in their notebook PC's.

As a matter of fact, HP has installed a 512 GB Samsung OEM NVMe SSD in my 15-ee0047nr notebook.
