Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (9P833AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

A family member of mine recently bought me one of the Victus HP 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptops with the 16 GB of RAM at the beginning of December.
Everything was fine with the product initially, but later into the month and going into January it had some odd BIOS/blue screen errors that never seemed to have any real issue. Around the end of January, my Victus HP black-screened itself, and would no longer turn on aside from a flashing power button every attempt. I contacted HP support over the phone to try and deal with this technical issue to no avail, so I inevitably had to send my laptop in for repair. Note that this laptop is, again, freshly new, and still has 9 months and a half left on the warranty.
I received an email today stating that the warranty was not applicable as HP has deemed it "customer induced damage". I was not provided ANY detail whatsoever about what this damage supposedly was other than it being "accidental". I was provided an image of the motherboard, in which one piece seems corroded/burnt, and another spot seems chipped and has some sort of hole. Note that I have never spilled anything on this laptop and all issues were sudden. It is also to note that I never opened the panels to access the motherboard, even when I was asked over the phone if I was comfortable doing so (..I was not! Nor did I have the correct tools to ever do so.) Not only that, but the price of fixing the motherboard is more than the computer itself was even worth (It was originally 475-500 dollars, and was bought on sale for 375. The price for repair I was given is 624.34.)
I was only provided in that email with a number to contact about billing, but not a number to contact about contesting the deemed report. If possible, I would like to be provided a number to call regarding this.
Also, I have decided to attach the image I was provided by HP. I have no idea what the issue in the picture could be / may be caused by other than the laptop heating up and burning itself, or some other self-corrosive method, which I should not be liable for. If anyone could assist with this as well, I would be most grateful.
In researching this, I've only recently found out that their Victus/OMEN brand laptops have frequent issues as of late, so if there are any reports similar to this I would also appreciate that. HPVICTUSMOTHERBOARDREPAIRPIC.PNGHPVICTUSDAMAGE.png
