Hi @drankfe5,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're looking to mirror your camera on your HP Victus gaming laptop without using a website, you can try the following steps.

Using Windows Camera App

  1. Open the Camera App: Search for "Camera" in the Windows search bar and open the Camera app.
  2. Access Settings: Click on the gear/settings icon within the Camera app. It's usually located in the top right corner.
  3. Toggle Mirror Mode: Look for an option like "Mirror Video" or "Flip Horizontally" in the settings. Toggle this option to enable mirroring.
  4. Check the Preview: Once enabled, check the camera preview to see if it's now mirrored.

Using OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software)

If the Windows Camera app doesn't have the option, you can use OBS Studio, a free and popular streaming software:

  1. Download and Install OBS Studio: If you don't have it already, download and install OBS Studio from the official website.
  2. Add Camera as a Source: In OBS Studio, add your camera as a video capture device source.
  3. Right-click on the Source: Right-click on the camera source in the OBS Studio preview.
  4. Select "Transform": From the menu, choose "Transform" and then "Flip Horizontal". This will mirror the camera.
  5. Adjust Position: You may need to adjust the position of the camera source after flipping it.

Using Camera Settings (if available)

If you're using specific camera software that came with your laptop (like HP's own camera software), it might have a mirror option:

  1. Open Camera Software: Look for the camera software that came pre-installed with your HP laptop. It might be named something like "HP Camera" or similar.
  2. Access Settings: Within the camera software, look for settings or options.
  3. Mirror/Flip Option: There might be an option to mirror or flip the camera image. Toggle this option to mirror the camera feed.

Using Keyboard Shortcuts

Sometimes laptops have built-in keyboard shortcuts for flipping the camera:

  1. Check Keyboard: Look for any symbols or icons on your laptop's keyboard related to the camera.
  2. Fn Key: Often, these shortcuts involve the "Fn" key along with another key. Look for symbols like a camera or arrows.
  3. Try Shortcut: Press the "Fn" key along with the key associated with the camera (it could be F2, F4, F6, or another key depending on your laptop model).

Remember to close any other camera-using applications when trying these methods, as they might interfere with the settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
