Hello,
i've got my HP OMEN laptop for a while now and everything is great. But i would like to add a second HDD becouse it only came wth a 256GB M2 SSD. There is space for a HDD becouse they also came with double drives but i dont know what kind of HDD i need to buy and probably i will also need a cradle and a cable? If anyone can help me what do i need etc. i will forever be in his debt!
Thank you

Hello @Popeofdope
Yes you most likely will the to purchase the bracket and cable connector so you can install a 2.5 inch HDD or Sata SSD.
Page 31 of the manual gives you the part numbers for those items.

bracket kit 929561-001
cable connector 929450-001
I would open the case first and see if they are missing. Then order what you need.
You can order the parts through the HP Parts Store via this link below, but only if its available in your country.
If its not, you will have to look to a third party seller.

Glad to have helped.
On your other question about how to install the OS, don't bother with cloning. It can give you problems sometimes and end up wasting your time trying to figure it out.
Clean installing Windows is always best. Windows will add the drivers needed automatically when it updates.
But you can also install the extras yourself if you need that particular item like the command center.
Use the latest ISO from MS... Create media Windows 10
You'll need an 8GB usb pen drive (but no larger than 32GB).
If you need help with the other stuff, let me know when the time comes. Ill help you with adding the HP stuff if you need it.
