HP Omen 32
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a laptop which only has an HDMI output (and 3.5mm Jack!) and it’s currently connected to the HP Omen 32 monitor.  I’ve bought a soundbar but I can’t find a way to output from the monitor to the soundbar. Is there anyway to get some form of loopthrough as HDMI from the laptop will be outputting sound! Thanks in advance.

Panasonic SC-HTB258 is the soundbar.

@r8sso,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether there is any way you can connect a soundbar to the monitor.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your monitor and see that there is no HDMI ARC port available on the monitor to connect the soundbar. Having said that, you can try using converters available based on the ports on your laptop. However, you may not get the best quality output from the soundbar if you are using a converter.

Hope the information shared will help you.
